First, the bad news! (And the reason I'm saying the good stuff now and not at the meeting).

I will not be here for the meeting!!! For some stupid reason, my boss was under the impression that the only reason I didn't work Saturdays was because of my wrestling announcer job. He "didn't know" about the anime club nor that it's one of the few Jewish traditions that I uphold. I told him that I'd be fine with it this week, (especially since it's an opening and not a closing, plus the reason is acceptable).

Now, the good news!

I don't remember if I've said this to anyone or not, but I joined the Anime Evolution forums, should any of us have any questions. I made my beginning post, and had a couple of their top people respond. One person said that they knew some of our previous members, and another said that... aw heck, I'll just post it!

"Make sure your club members contact our registration dept to get the 10% discount on your passes! Just drop an email to registration@animeevolution.com and Heather, our reg manager will be happy to work with you on it. Please note you need to have 10 people registering from your club to qualify."

Isn't that awesome?
